Good Neighbor Center is a family homeless shelter that relies on our community to provide the basic necessities for our families in need. Here is a list of our most current needs. Please donate if you can! Thank you for your support!
Each summer, GNC has a 10 week Summer School program has anywhere from 5-15 children. The summer school program is very structured. There are classroom activities and weekly outings to the movie theater, local parks, a swimming pool, a community garden, and various field trips. Our teacher, Megan Mornini, has created a list of items that she will need for this program. If you would like to donate fund or collect any items from this list, we would greatly appreciate the support! If you have questions, please contact Megan.
Good Neighbor Center is a family homeless shelter that has the capacity to help nine families at a time. We serve an average of 90 families each year and will be celebrating 20 years of helping families in need next spring 2019. Our building was built in 1999 and being a community living space, it gets a lot of wear and tear. Things break and need fixing weekly just like your home, but much larger. Staff and volunteers do our very best to keep the grounds and building is good shape but as you may know, repairs and upgrades cost money. With your help and support, we can make this place the best "home like" environment we can. Here is a list of items we are in need of, please donate if you are able. If not, please consider sharing this list with others to spread the word of how people can help support our shelter that houses families and their children during tough times.
